Lucas: Baptism Invitation

Birth Announcement and Moving Announcement

Emma is just too cute not to post. We love her round cheeks and adorable little hat! Emma's announcement featured brown and pink as well as multi coloured poka dots.

Baby Emma and family were also moving so mom and dad wanted to give out their address in a unique way. With such beautiful photos, a custom photo announcement was a great idea! We love how this turned out.

Bachelorette Party Invitation

Allison wanted us to create an invitation for her friend's bachelorette party. She wanted something simple using black and pink. This printed off beautifully. What a great way to invite friends out for a night on the town!

Dallin: Third Birthday Party Invitation

We loved this photo of Dallin, it just says all boy! Dallin was having an Elmo themed birthday party and mom wanted something fun and colourful to reflect this. We love the bright colours and how the invitation really features the photo.

Mikayla: Photo Birth Announcement

Mikayla's birth announcement was created using the "Katelyn" design. The colours in the photos seemed to need stronger, bolder colours than what existed in the original design. Therefore black was chosen as the back drop. The orange Lily also needed some colour to make it pop even more, hence the orange at the bottom. We love how the bold colours in this announcement help the photos come alive. What a darling little girl Mikayla is!

Melina: Photo Birth Announcement

This birth announcement was created with the popular "Violet" design. Mom wanted pink and brown rather than black and purple. The colours worked perfectly with the photos that were sent in! We love this variation on the design. What a cutie!

Charles: Photo Birth Announcement

We did up this birth announcement for little Charles. His mom particularly liked a couple of designs on our website, so we combined elements to work with the photos she submitted. The photography is stunning and the little guy adorable. We love how this turned out!

Welcome to our blog site, we're so excited that you stopped by! We look forward to posting business updates, client cards as well as some personal updates.

Dolcetto Designs was first created in June 2009. However, we started off as being called "Your Custom Cards," www.yourcustomcards.webs.com. So why the name change? Well it didn't take long before we realized that our little business was doing really well and had great potential. It was time to take it to the next level and redo our website and get our own domain. YourCustomCards was already taken and we felt that we needed a name that better reflected who we were.

In July 2009 Dolcetto Designs was born. Dolcetto means "sweet and simple" which reflects the type of cards we design and market. Dolcetto is also a grape variety grown in Italy. This seemed to be a fitting name since our family is going into the wine industry. My husband is currently in his third year of studies to become a professional wine maker.

We're excited about our future in wine and design!
