We're excited about my brother and sister in law coming to visit us for a week from BC.  It should be great to relax and spend some quality time with family. 

Holly Jolly: Photo Christmas Card

This design has been a top seller this Christmas.  Today I wanted to post a variation of the design.  So what's different? The main text is two colours, there's a red and white colour band, the poka dots have replaced the stripes and the red is a different shade.  Perhaps this version will be a best seller next year?!?

Kaelana: Photo Baptism Invitation

I wanted to post this brown and pink variation of the "Miranda" baptism invitation.  The card itself is designed after one of our birth announcements. I love the brown and white birds damask in the corner.  Such a unique and elegant baptism invitation.  Isn't Kaelana so... sweet!?!  These were printed and shipped yesterday, so beautiful if I do say so myself.

Receive a FREE Digital Jpeg Image (no purchase necessary)

We're running a special promotion until the end of 2009.  To promote our facebook fan page we're giving away free digital jpeg images to facebook fans that refer 10 people to join our page.  You can redeem the image anytime in 2010.  That's it, your friends don't even need to place an order!  When referring your "friends" just make sure they post your name on our wall or as a "comment" to the similar wall post so that we can give you all the credit.

Ready to get that free image!?! Here's a couple of ideas:

-Send a message to all your facebook friends that you think would be interested in joining.  Make it personal.  Tell them a little bit about your experience (if you've ordered a custom card before).  Tell them about the promotion and how you really want the free image.  Your friends are more than welcome to participate as well.

Today I thought I would post another custom design from yesterday as I love how this one turned out.  Little Avary is such a doll!

New Christmas Designs: Damask Photo Christmas Cards

I know that I should stop posting new Christmas designs but I keep customizing cards for people and then one idea leads to the next and I'm left with several new designs.  Here are a few more new ones that I love.  All of these cards were designed as 5x7's but would look great as a 4x6 as well. 

I love how this one turned out as well.  If you prefer the damask look the snowflake band could easily be subsituted for a damask pattern (I have several).

A little update...

Just wanted to say that we hit the 200th order mark this past week.  This is very exciting for me since I only started this business in June, with a simple website and a few designs.  I am amazed at how far this business has come in such a short time.  Thank you for your business, the many referrals and repeat customers!

I feel so blessed to be able to work from home doing something that I really enjoy.  After teaching Elementary school for years and then going on maternity leave I felt like I still needed something for myself.  I had no idea that this would be the result of a little idea that wouldn't go away and 6 months of hard work. 

I thought I would take a break from posting Christmas card photos today and post a couple photos of my sweet children.  Little Calvin is 6 weeks old already and growing so... fast!  Sarah is 19 months and busy busy! I hope you have a great day; thank goodness for children that nap!

Christmas Variations: Photo Christmas Cards

Here are a few more variations of Christmas cards from the last couple of days.  The above card is the "green dots" design with the added red.  The below card is the "Love" layout with the look of the "sparkle" design.

The above card is the "snow globe" design with an added mini globe at the top and a change in colours to match the clothing colours.  The below card was created with the "love" design layout but with a change in colours once again.  I love how these all turned out.  Each card is unique just like the photos it's showing off.

Today I wanted to post a few of the Christmas cards from the last couple of days.

 So many adorable kids, beautiful familes and amazing photos!

Today I'm wondering how many people wait until they can get those perfect "in the snow" photos or photos in front of the Christmas tree for their Christmas photo card.  I'm not sure about elsewhere, but we've had no sign of snow here in Niagara, Ontario.  The forecast is for a little snow later in the week, we'll just have to wait and see.
