So I've been a little slow getting the Easter/ spring cards up.  It's on the to do list, it just hasn't happened yet (and may not).  Anyways, I thought I would post a custom order that I did for a fabulous family.  I have now done their birth announcement, baptism invitation, thank you, Christmas card and Easter card.  It's such a joy to work wtih repeat customers, to see their children grow and establish a relationship.  Even though we've never met, I feel like I know this family. (all names were changed, as always).

Baptism Photo Inviations Canada

There have been a lot of requests for baptism/ christening invitaitons these days.  Please note that all baptism invitations can also be used as first communion invitations by simply changing the wording around.  The Caroline and Robert invitaitons are acutally birth announcements redone as baptism invitations.  I hope this gives you a better idea how most other designs on the website can be altered for a different occasion.  When looking to see what other designs could possibly work, the main thing is to look for cards that have ample space for the invitation wording details.  Not sure if the one you picked out will work? Princess Birthday Invitation Photo Cards

When selecting photos for your little one's photo invitation/ card it's almost always best to have a special little photo shoot just for the occasion.  Put a nice, yet simple, outfit on your child.  Take them outside if the weather is nice or go in front of a bare wall.  Remember, clutter takes away from the cute essence of your child and the overall look you're wanting to achieve for your card.  Even a not so pretty couch or blanket in the background and ruin a photo.  Zoom in!  Take lots of shots at different angles, the more the better.  The best photo card photos are always the ones that are simple yet stunning!

During the last couple of days I have spent some time reviewing the site and taking a more critical look at some of the posted designs (especially the earlier designs, can't believe how much I've grown).  People do love variety, this is evident by the number of different designs purchased off the site.  However, there have been a few designs that haven't caught anyone's eye.  So I've changed up a few of the designs with some new colours, new brushes, fonts and patterns.  These three are so feminine and pretty!

Here are a couple new girl birth announcement photo cards that will be added to our gallery shortly.  It can be difficult to choose the perfect announcement when there is lots of red on your photos.  These designs keep it simple with black, white and a possible damask pattern.  Such classy looking photos should be showcased in a classy looking announcement design.  Isn't this little one just too cute!?!

Today's post is a revison of the Cassie birth announcement.  I love how this design features different size photos, a flower pattern, space for baby's name in a larger font and enough space for a verse or quote.  Cute!
